Originally formed at Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo of Valencia, Spain, with Professor Carmen Mayo, who has promoted and protected them from its beginnings until today, the Cuarteto Nel Cuore was the first spanish quartet admitted to study in the prestigious Accademia W.Stauffer di Cremona (Italy), where they have improved from 2014 to 2017 with the Quartetto di Cremona. 2017 they were admitted to the Department of string quartets at the Instituto Internacional de Música de Cámara of Madrid (Escuela Superior Reina Sofia), Spain, with Professor Günter Pichler, violinist of the Alban Berg Quartett.
The Cuarteto Nel Cuore has acted in different cities in Spain and Italy, as Madrid, Milan, Cremona, Verona, Siena, etc. 2015 they were selected to participate in the VI Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara Fundation Monteleón, Spain, and in 2018 they were selected to play in the cycle of concerts of the Fundación Più Mosso. They have become the first prize in Circuitos FestClásica 2017, which has led them to play at various festivals, as Festival de Música española de Cádiz, Festival Internacional de Panticosa or Otoño Musical Soriano.
They have played in some concert halls and festivals such as the Auditorio Nacional de Música and Festival Classics Empúries in Spain, Teatro Amilcare Ponchielli de Cremona, Palazzo Biscari de Catania, Palazzo Chigi de Siena in Italy, etc.
They are winners of some chamber music competitions in Spain, like VI Concurso Villa de Cox, VI Concurso de Burriana and IX Concurso de Mislata.
As teachers, they have taught at the Curs Unió de Cordes FORUMT 2016.
In 2019 will be the premiere of the first String Quartet of the composer Joaquín Arias Botias, who composed this work exclusively for Cuarteto Nel Cuore.
Their last concerts included performances at the prestigious Fundación Juan March, Madrid, in February 2019.
